Women in Business Mixer

Ready to grow your network and get real about what it takes to succeed? The KRMG and Mix 96.5 Women in Business Mixer is bringing together driven, ambitious women for an evening that’s equal parts inspiration and connection.

Align your business with an event designed to spotlight the power of women supporting women. This dynamic mixer will feature a panel of accomplished women at different stages of their careers, offering honest insight into their journeys. From lessons learned to challenges faced, they’ll share what shaped their paths, what they would do differently, and the resources that helped them move forward.

Following the panel discussion, attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions during an interactive Q&A, then transition into a relaxed mix-and-mingle atmosphere. It’s your chance to build meaningful connections, exchange ideas, and surround yourself with women who are just as motivated to grow and succeed.

Whether you’re just starting out, making a career pivot, or looking to take things to the next level, this event is designed to leave you feeling empowered, equipped, and inspired.

Meet the Speakers:

Sarah Lopp
Sarah Lopp is the creative force and owner behind Funktified, a maximalist boutique in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma that celebrates all things funky, eclectic, and disco-inspired. With a love for vibrant design, local artistry, and retro nostalgia, Sarah has built Funktified into a community hub of joy and self-expression, blending maximalism with thoughtful curation, making Funktified not just a store but an immersive experience that reflects her passion for fun, bold living.

Before founding Funktified, Sarah was well-known in the Tulsa area as the entrepreneur behind Money Saving Queen, where she shared creative ways for families to save money through coupons, smart shopping, and budgeting strategies. She sold her company to News on 6 in 2009 and joined the Tulsa media scene to further her efforts of teaching families how to eat healthy and save money. Her work reached a national level being featured daily in 11 television markets as well as on national news television and authoring her own book as well.

Her self-built website reached monthly views of over 2.5 million users. In 2014, Sarah purchased Money Saving Queen back from the media company behind News on 6 and sold it for the final time in 2017.

Sarah began strategizing with other local businesses to help them manage the pandemic and come out ahead. One of her biggest successes as a business strategist was when she took over a near bankrupt semi-trailer repair company, rebuilt it and “flipped” it a year and half later for over $2.5 million dollars.

Forever drawing on that entrepreneurial spirit, Sarah has successfully transitioned from helping families save to helping them celebrate life through bold, funky finds—all while staying true to her love of community and creativity. Sarah recently launched a second store, FunkyBrims, with her husband right across the street from Funktified.

Sarah holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Biblical Studies, a Masters of Theology and is an adjunct professor for Oklahoma Wesleyan University. She is also the mother of five boys and the wife of Chris Lopp, a local attorney in Broken Arrow.

Joni Rogers-Kante

Joni Rogers-Kante is the visionary and driving force behind SeneGence®. Her dream of developing a company that gave women an opportunity to build their own business regardless of age, background, or education has become a global success, with offices in five countries and hundreds of thousands of Independent Distributors worldwide.

Her “career” started at the Sav-On Corporation at age 16. By 23, she was the Assistant Manager of the highest-performing store in the Sav-On chain. The most important lesson she learned from the top-level managers, buyers, and operations experts she worked with was that the corporate structure was not for her. So, she took her talent and experience to a direct sales cosmetic company where her efforts over the next 13 years produced jewelry, cars, awards, trips and recognition, and most importantly, the burning desire to create her own company.

Armed with a plan and a prodigious amount of business savvy, Joni pursued her dream of becoming an entrepreneur. In 1999, SeneGence and its flagship product, LipSense®, was born. This patented, long-lasting color cosmetic changed the course of the entire industry.

In the company’s early days, Joni traveled the world with a team of scientists and botanists searching for the finest ingredients for SeneGence’s unique skincare and cosmetic formulas. Today, she oversees the company’s extensive operations and more than 200 employees in SeneGence’s offices worldwide and is actively involved with trips, events, and the development and marketing of new products and training programs.

Philanthropy is paramount. In 2002, Joni founded the Make Sense Foundation® (MSF) to support women and children in need. Under Joni’s leadership, MSF made charitable donations of over $5,929,674 in 2021, an increase of more than $1 million from 2020. (To learn more about the nonprofit organizations that benefit from MSF, visit www.makesensefoundation.org.)

Another cause dear to her is maintaining and revitalizing her hometown of Sapulpa, Oklahoma. Joni and her husband are committed to helping draw attention to Sapulpa,
Oklahoma not just Oklahoma entirely, but in the nation. They have purchased buildings, restored icons, painted murals, moved businesses, and started new ones, all to preserve and enrich this historic town that’s often referred to as the Crossroads of America.

Joni is also an active member of Orange and Creek County communities, on the Board of CEOs for the World Federation of the Direct Selling Association, and the author of Million Dollar Lips. Whether in the corporate world or at the community level, Joni’s guiding principle since day one has been, “Choose to live life in love and abundance, and then work for it!
