Phoebe Buffay has finally met her match.
In “Friends: The Reunion,” which debuted Thursday on HBO Max, actress Lisa Kudrow performed her eccentric “Friends” character’s iconic song, “Smelly Cat,” with some help from a special guest – Lady Gaga.
According to Variety, the performance opened with Kudrow reprising her role from the sitcom, which ran from 1994 to 2004. While perched on the Central Perk couch with her guitar, she sang part of the song on her own before Gaga, clad in Phoebe-inspired attire, peeked in.
“I love ‘Smelly Cat.’ It’s one of my favorite songs,” Gaga said before asking if she could take the song “for a spin.”
The pop singer then belted out a verse before Kudrow – and, later, a gospel choir – joined her for the rest of the song, Billboard reported.
