The "Flowers" that Miley Cyrus planted two years ago haven't wilted yet.
Miley's Grammy-winning hit is spending its 100th week on Billboard's Adult Contemporary chart. That milestone comes after the song set a record by spending 57 weeks at #1 on that tally.
And while 100 weeks is impressive, it isn't a record — "Flowers" is now the fifth song to have spent that long on the chart. The others include Sarah McLachlan's "I Will Remember You," which also lasted for 100 weeks; "I Need You" by LeAnn Rimes, with 104 weeks; and "Unstoppable" by Sia, with 117 weeks.
The top two, though, are by the same act, which doesn't even exist anymore: Australian duo Savage Garden. Their hit "Truly Madly Deeply" lasted for 123 weeks on the chart in the late '90s, and their smash "I Knew I Loved You" holds the all-time record, 124 weeks on the chart between 1999 and 2002.
Miley has said she plans to release a "visual album" this year that's inspired by the 1982 movie Pink Floyd – The Wall.
