SAPULPA, Okla. — The Route 66 Christmas Chute will not be returning for the 2025 Christmas season.
The past year saw a record number of visitors, including visitors from over 40 states and a dozen countries.
In 2025, the City of Sapulpa will begin a large-scale redesign downtown.
Due to this, the Christmas Chute Committee decided to take a pause in 2025. However, the holiday event will return in 2026 just in time for the Route 66 Centennial Anniversary.
